Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of ShuffleWheel (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use the Service.
1. The service
ShuffleWheel provides free browser-based tools for making random selections, including a spin wheel name picker, a random number generator, a coin flip, a dice roller, a team generator and a yes or no wheel. The Service is provided free of charge and is funded by advertising. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable regulation.
- Use the Service to run gambling, betting or lottery activity that requires a licence in your jurisdiction.
- Submit content to any saved wheel or contact form that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes another person’s rights.
- Upload personal information about other people that you do not have the right to share, including material about children.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its administrative area, its database or any related system.
- Use automated scripts, scrapers or bots to overload the Service, or to generate saved wheels or requests at a volume that degrades performance for other users.
- Interfere with, obscure, or artificially interact with advertising displayed on the site.
We may remove saved content and block access to the Service where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
3. No commercial redistribution
You are welcome to use the Service in commercial settings — in a paid classroom, on a monetised stream, at a company event — and you do not owe us anything for doing so. What you may not do is copy, scrape, mirror, rebrand, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service itself or any substantial part of its code, design or written content, whether or not you charge for it. All site content, branding and software remain our property or that of our licensors.
4. No guarantee of randomness for high-stakes decisions
Our tools generate results using the random number generator provided by your web browser (crypto.getRandomValues()). We believe this is fair and unbiased for ordinary purposes such as classroom selection, informal giveaways and casual games. However, we make no representation that the Service meets the standards required for regulated gambling, official lotteries, legal proceedings, clinical trial randomisation, statistical research, security key generation or any other high-stakes or regulated use. For those purposes you must use a certified, audited randomness source. You accept sole responsibility for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for your intended use, and for any outcome that follows from a result it produces.
5. Availability and content accuracy
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that saved wheels will be retained indefinitely, or that articles published on the blog are complete or current. Blog content is general information, not professional advice.
6. Third-party services and advertising
The Service displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control the specific advertisements shown or the sites they link to. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. Our handling of the cookies these services set is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShuffleWheel, its operators and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, any dispute arising from the outcome of a draw, selection, raffle or giveaway conducted using the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred Philippine pesos (₱100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShuffleWheel and its operators against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page, and the “last updated” date will change accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to infoshufflewheel@gmail.com or through our contact form.
